The fact that the European Capital of Culture is not just a European, but also a global project of great importance, is supported by the established cooperation between the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation and EU-Japan Fest, organisation from Tokyo.

‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation in cooperation with this organisation, in order to encourage internationalisation of the cultural scene of Novi Sad, connect local cultural workers and artists with partners from Japan, and in order to plan joint cultural and artistic projects, opens public call
for financial support to local artists and cultural workers for realisation of study and research visits to Japan within the ‘Kizuna’ exchange programme.

This call is realised as a permanent call without predefined end date. Organisers of the call reserve the right to end the call without further explanation by publishing a notification on the webpage of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, at least 10 days before the end date.
Selection will be done periodically, and the results of the selection will be directly notified to the applicants. Once per quarter, the Foundation will publish on its webpage the names of the selected artists and cultural workers.
Given the length of the selection process and administration procedures, the proposed time for realisation of the visit is at least 4 (four) months after the application has been submitted.
