The Creative Europe Desk Serbia and Novi Sad 2021 foundation organise a workshop, goal of which is to answer the most important questions related to applying to open calls of the Creative Europe programme for support to European cooperation projects.
The workshop will be held on 8 and 9 March in the Congress Centre of the Novi Sad Fair, during the 23rd International Book Fair and 22nd Art Expo – International Art Exhibition.
One of the main activities of the Novi Sad 2021 foundation in the so-called year zero of the preparations for 2021 – when Novi Sad will proudly become a European Capital of Culture – is raising cultural capacities, which is one of the key programme streams within the Hope Bridge, whose goal is to strengthen human and space resources through decentralisation from the centre to peripheries. This programme concept should be implemented through revitalisation of the existing cultural infrastructure and development of its new capacities, ensuring mobility of cultural content by encouraging and promoting authentic cultural production in different parts of the city, creating conditions for increased participation of the citizens in the cultural life of the city with promotion of volunteer work, organising different forms of formal and informal education in order to raise capacities of cultural operators, non-governmental organisations, local self-governments, etc.
The workshop, which we prepare with the Creative Europe Desk Serbia, is dedicated to informal education, because it is intended for institutions and organisations that prepare documentation for open calls within the Creative Europe programme, as well as for all interested cultural workers who want to be informed and trained for possible application for the Creative Europe programmes. The programme is designed to answer all important questions related to application: What open calls exist and for whom are they intended?; What are priorities of the programme and how to design a project according to them?; How and where to find partners?; What projects have received support and why?
Application for the workshop should contain the following information:
- Name and surname;
- Name of the institution or organisation you represent;
- Short description of the project idea you would potentially submit to the Creative Europe programme in future open calls (This part of the application is not obligatory. Since the second part of the workshop will be a discussion on ideas for application, please write down at least the most important project you are developing within your institution or organisation).
You can send the application via e-mail at: kreativna.evropa.radionice@gmail.com, not later than Friday, 3 March 2017.
