Reputable newspaper Danas that is read in the whole country, as well as in the region, in cooperation with the City Ministry for Culture, started the implementation of the project „Novi Sad towards the European Capital of Culture 2021“. “Danas” has also during last year, in a very professional manner, regularly informed the public about the activities related to the Novi Sad candidacy for the ECoC 2021.
“In addition to interviews with persons who are most directly related to the work of the Organizing Committee, the Arts Council and other relevant bodies who work on the candidacy of Novi Sad, we also have a regular column „AGORA: Liberty Square“, where artists and all people who create cultural events in the city, have the opportunity to express their views and opinions on the cultural scene as well as the activities of the candidacy and more. Of course, “Danas” will try to publish the exclusive news like the one in today’s issue, that the shooting of promo materials „KulturLica“ have started which is a joint project of the EcoC 2021 and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, „said Gordana Draganic-Nonin, “Danas” correspondent from Novi Sad.
By the end of this year, every Friday, one page of this newspaper will be devoted to the culture of Novi Sad and its activities related to the candidacy for European Capital of Culture.
